Teaching Assistant

Job Title: Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant
Pay Rate: £76.15 per day
Location: Birmingham – Handsworth
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 3.00pm

Smart Education is currently recruiting for an experienced Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and inclusive special school in Handsworth, Birmingham. The school supports pupils aged 3 to 19 years with a wide range of needs including ASD, BESD, MLD, PMLD, and SLD.

What we're looking for:

• At least 6 months of UK-based SEN experience in a school setting

• A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent

• A caring, adaptable approach and a genuine passion for working with young people with additional needs

• The ability to support learning, behaviour, communication, and emotional regulation

• Resilience, positivity, and teamwork
