Job Title: Educational Psychologist
Pay Rate: £44,364 - £57,425 per annum
Location: Walsall
Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Supporting students aged 7 to 18 with a range of needs, including autism, learning difficulties, speech and language challenges, and complex needs, this is a role where you can truly impact lives. What You’ll Be Doing:
• Providing psychological assessments and consultations to support students with a wide variety of needs.
• Delivering therapeutic interventions to help students develop confidence, emotional resilience, and independence.
• Offering expert advice and training to staff, empowering them with strategies to support students effectively.
• Collaborating with other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
• Supporting students with SEND, trauma, and mental health needs, applying psychotherapeutic techniques tailored to their individual needs.
What We’re Looking For:
• HCPC registration as an Educational Psychologist.
• Doctorate in Educational Psychology (or equivalent).
• Previous experience working with children and young people, or transferable skills in a relevant field.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and external professionals.
• Expertise in psychotherapeutic approaches, particularly for young people with complex needs.
• Sound understanding of SEND legislation, trauma-informed care, mental health, and safeguarding principles.
• A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for travel between school sites.
