Job Title: Level 3 Pre-School Practitioner

Location: Kidderminster

Hours of Work: Full time hours 8am – 5pm or 9am – 6pm

Pay rate: £80+ per day

Type of Booking: On-going role, which could lead to a permanent role 

The Role:

Smart Education are working with a lovely school in Kidderminster to recruit an experience Pre-school practitioner to join their team. We are working closely with the school to ensure an excellent match is found. This is a great opportunity to for someone who has experience working within early years.

If you have a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification or equivalent, a deep understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, and a genuine enthusiasm for fostering the development and well-being of children aged 0-5 years, we'd love to hear from you.

Duties of a Pre-school Practitioner:

• Working throughout the pre-school with children aged from babies to aged 4/5
• Following the settings policies and procedures
• Working as a team to ensure the children are safe at all times
• Completing observations and learning journals
• Light cleaning duties
• Assisting the children during meal time
• Be able to motivate the children 
• Have a positive attitude and an enthusiastic approach
• Ability to possibly work with parents in order for them to participate within their childrens’ learning and achievement within this particular area of the curriculum

All appointments are subject to a satisfactory DBS check and other relevant pre-employment checks.

Qualifications Required:

• Level 3 teaching assistant/ childcare learning and development
• At least 6+ Month’s experience within the Pre-School setting environment.
• DBS on the update service (we can process one for you)
• Safeguarding, Prevent Duty and FGM trained (we offer free CPD)
• SEN experience/ knowledge
• Salary: £80+ per day
