Job Description:

SMART Education would like to recruit a former nurse or experienced first aider to support a secondary school with safeguarding and welfare of the pupils within the school.

This position is temporary contract to start but could go permanent.

The schools are looking to hold interviews and lesson observations as soon as possible.

They like to collaborate with local communities, schools, and beyond and require people who can support this in an administrative way.

 

Qualifications Required: 

The role is full time and will consist of

• Be Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead in the school.
• Manage and coordinate safeguarding cases across the school.
• Manage and oversee the educational and care provision for Looked After Children.
• Provide guidance for all safeguarding and welfare related issues for all stakeholders.
• Evaluate safeguarding provision and practice to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Develop knowledge and understanding across all teams/stakeholders to ensure strong CPD and development around safeguarding.

 

 

 

Salary: £31,484 - £36,171 per annum

Hours: Full-time Monday to Friday, 8 am - 4 pm.

Location: West Bromwich
