Position Overview:

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in assisting teachers and promoting the overall development of students in a primary school setting. Your dedication and collaboration will contribute to the success of our students, helping them to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide support to class teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.

- Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and strategies for students with special educational needs.

- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and mutual respect among students.

- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional assistance in specific subjects or areas.

- Contribute to the creation of educational resources and materials that enhance learning experiences.

- Help maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to effective teaching and learning.

Qualifications:

- Level 3 qualification – applicants lacking the required qualification will not be considered.

- A minimum of 6 months previous experience working with children in an educational setting – applicants lacking the required experience will not be considered

-A DBS on the update service or issued in the last 12 months

-Safeguarding Young People, FGM, and Prevent Duty training certificate

-Relevant qualifications or experience in education, special education, or a related field.

- Empathy, patience, and a strong commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, students, and parents.

- Experience in working with students with diverse learning needs is advantageous.

- Adaptability and problem-solving skills to address various challenges that may arise.

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage tasks efficiently.
