Subject Leader of Accounting

We are working on behalf of a college who are A-level specialists. They provide a deep and thorough academic curriculum and help our students to develop excellent independent study skills. Just as important is their broader development curriculum, with almost 100 different clubs, groups and activities operating on a weekly basis, and excellent preparation for careers and HE. 

We seek a teacher of economics, to start in September 2023, full-time.

Working as part of our energetic, collaborative law team, the post holder will play a key role in inspiring students to engage with the subject material and to participate actively in lessons.  As a committed and dedicated teacher, the post holder will contribute to this subject area, ensuring students benefit from a high-quality learning experience.

Working as part of our energetic, collaborative Accounting team, the post holder will lead teachers and work closely with colleagues across the college. They will plan and deliver the curriculum so that students are inspired and helped to retain the knowledge and build the skills they need to be highly successful.

Every year, just over 160 students study A-level Accounting. The role is open to experienced colleagues and also to applicants looking to develop their skills in leadership and management. There is a strong support network in place to help with this.

Experiences Required: At least one year of experience in the National Curriculum in Economics.

Salary: £28,000 - £44,000 per annum plus responsibility allowance (up to £2,184)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am - 4 pm (full-time)
