COVID Tester

COVID TESTERS

We are currently recruiting for candidates to support with the School Testing system to enable students and school staff return to the classroom following the summer holidays.

We do not require any staff to conduct the actual tests, only to support with administrative roles, packing and processing of swabs.

This role is temporary for 1-4 weeks from Monday 6^th September.

Locations at schools across the West Midlands

All candidates will receive training from NHS Track and Trace and will be subject to a compulsory online exam to confirm knowledge and will receive certification of training.

If you already have a DBS on the update service or a valid COVID Testing DBS that would be beneficial if not a new DBS will be required, the administrative cost for this is £11.40.

DBS:
We apply for an enhanced disclosure for all candidates including overseas candidates, unless they
have an existing DBS registered with the DBS online update service. With any new application
candidates are encouraged to sign up to the DBS online update service and once joined, we run a
check every 12 weeks to ensure the DBS remains up to date. If there has a three-month break in
education, we apply for a new DB. All issued DBS certificates not registered with the state service or
renewed every year. There is a subsidised cost of £11.40 for certificates reduced from £50.40
should you require a new one.

References:
Minimum of two verified authenticated references covering the last two years from date of
registration. support staff must provide the two most recent professional reference letters or
referee contact details. All referees are then contacted for verification to ensure authenticity.
