Teacher of Sociology – Immediate start available

SMART Education are looking for a Sociology Teacher for a long term position in South Birmingham. The role involves teaching KS3 and KS4. This is a long term position with the view to go on permanent at the end of the school year and the school is looking to interview the right candidate with the view to start after Easter.

About the role:

• Work inside an excellent Social Sciences department that is moving forwards
• Teach lessons at KS3 and KS4 and able to teach GCSE

About the school:

• The school is rated GOOD on Ofsted reports and are looking to add to an exciting team
• They are looking to add an exciting teacher to the school who will fit in with the department and communicate effectively throughout the school

The successful candidate will have the following:

• QTS/QTLS
• Plan and prepare lessons
• Teach schemes of work
• Be able to motivate students through inspirational teaching
