PE & Dance Teacher

SMART Education are currently looking for Female PE & Dance Teacher in Birmingham for an immediate start to work in an improving school. The role requires working with a number of students from KS3 through to GCSE.

This school will be willing to take on an NQT if successful on interview.

This position requires a STRONG MINDED and RESILIENT candidate who shows a good work ethic and CONSISTENT BEHAVIOUR MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Full planning and preparation
• Attending meetings after school
• Be able to motivate and empower the learning of students
• Show excellent behaviour management skills

About the role:

• Work inside an outstanding PE & Dance Department
• Teach lessons at KS3 and KS4 and able to teach GCSE

About the school:

• The school is rated GOOD on Ofsted reports and are looking to add to an exciting team
• They are looking to add an exciting teacher to the school who will fit in with the department and communicate effectively throughout the school

The successful candidate will have the following:

• QTS/QTLS
• Plan and prepare lessons
• Teach schemes of work
• Be able to motivate students through inspirational teaching

 

About the school, the school in question is an improving school and has recently been turned into an academy. They are looking to add a strong individual to the PE department who can show passion within all lessons.

Qualifications Required: QTS/QTLS

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £120 - £170 per day

Hours: - Monday – Friday 8.00am – 3.30pm
