SEBD Teaching Assistant

Smart Education are recruiting for a school in Worcester that is seeking an experienced SEBD (Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties) Teaching Assistant to work with them on a full-time/ part time basis from September 2020.

This is a large supportive and friendly school, who welcome staff and new ideas. Pupils attend the school on both a part time and full time basis. The school are also willing to reduce the days working hours for a suitable candidate this can be discussed on initial meeting. The school share good practice and was rated “good from Ofsted”.

• This school is looking for a candidates with strong knowledge and solid experience when dealing SEBD.

• The teaching assistant will be assisting the students with needs from behaviour and communication difficulties. The focus of a teaching assistant is to effectively manage and develop the students’ behaviour in a positive manner and enable the students to be active participants in their communities.

• Someone from a similar setting or with similar experience would be considered

This is a long term role starting October 2020 with the option for a permanent position.

Qualifications Required: 6 months experience within a school or similar setting

Salary: £65 - £85 a day

Hours: 8:30 – 4:30 Monday to Friday

Location: Worcester
