Qualified DT Teacher (KS3, KS4, and KS5)

Smart Education are currently recruiting on behalf of our client a GOOD rated Secondary school in South Birmingham for a Qualified DT Teacher to cover on long term supply from September 2020 till Christmas with the potential of a permanent role from January 2021.

We are looking to appoint an outstanding Teacher of DT with responsibility for a key stage, who is effective and enthusiastic and ready to make a significant impact on our successful department. The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge and be able to motivate pupils through inspirational teaching. They will be joining a very well-led, vibrant and successful team, committed to providing a quality experience for our students and ensuring that they achieve their full potential. Requirements

• FQT or NQT or relevant teaching qualification

• Must be able to teach DT to KS5

• Well qualified with an honours degree in relevant subject

• Available to start in September

• Evidence of a clear and trackable work record

• A passion for success and quality teaching

• All posts are subject to an enhanced DBS check and referencing.

SUMMARY:

• Qualifications Required: QTS /QTLS

• Salary: Main Pay Scale 1-6 £24,373 to £35,571 pa

• Hours: 8:20-4.00 Monday to Friday

• Location: SELLY PARK
