SEN Case Worker

We are currently recruiting for a SEN Case Worker position. This role would be ideal for an individual who has experience managing case loads. To lead and manage aspects of the delivery of the Special Educational Needs and Assessment and Review. You will be contributing to the overall management of the service.

This is a position which will have a focus on multi – agency working creating and maintaining collaborative relationships. You will have the responsibility of arranging the implementation of suitable social provisions and interventions for required for individual children and families to meet their needs in order for the children to thrive and fulfil their educational / personal potential. You will be assessing individuals / cases so that you can then effectively allocate resources whilst maintaining financial budgets. You will be managing and deploying people and services therefore will have to monitor performance, attendance and capability of others.

You will be required to;

• Adhere to statutory and local procedures – implementing policies and procedures continually

• Engage in appropriate appeals and tribunal processes to resolve any conflicts / to investigate complaints in accordance with Corporate and Directorate procedures

• Have a ‘relentless focus’ on child protection and safeguarding- effectively managing all risks and ensuring the safety and welfare of all involved

• Ensure all Health and Safety requirements are met

• Demonstrate high standards at all times – promoting and leading effective change – Using CIPs

• Contribute to business planning (setting goals and measurable targets)

• Deliver appropriate, necessary training

• Fulfil any additional duties which may organically arise

Qualifications Required:

Salary: £180-200 per day

Hours: Full time
