Social, Emotional and Mental Health Teaching Assistant

Job Description:

Here at SMART we are looking for an SEMH Teaching Assistant to work within a Special School in North Birmingham area. You must be level 3 qualified and have experience of working with students. The role will require you to work 1:1 with a pupil presented with Social, Emotional Behavioural Issues as well as Mental Health. You will be required to provide specialist support and be able to lead interventions for individual pupils. Initially this is a full time, temporary position with the opportunity for a permanent role for the right candidate.

Qualifications Required: Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Equivalent

Location: North Birmingham

Salary: £60 - £75 per day

Hours: 8:30-3:30 Monday to Friday
