Smart Education is recruiting a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support Key Stage 1 pupils within a specialist educational setting in the Stratford-upon-Avon area. This role offers an immediate start and is ideal for a confident, proactive professional with strong experience supporting young learners with additional needs.

Job Requirements:
• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Experience supporting KS1 pupils, ideally within a SEND setting
• Positive, energetic, and committed to high-quality learning support
• Ability to support phonics, early literacy, and numeracy
• Strong communication skills with staff, families, and professionals
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (Child & Adult Workforce) or willingness to obtain
• Valid passport
• Ability to provide 24 months of employer or academic references

 

Role Responsibilities:
• Support KS1 pupils during lessons, activities, and daily routines
• Deliver 1:1 and small-group learning support
• Assist with implementation of personalised learning plans
• Promote independence, communication, and social development
• Support classroom preparation and organisation
• Maintain a safe, calm, and supportive learning environment
