Smart Education is recruiting a Level 2 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated support for a Key Stage 2 pupil with complex needs in the Stratford-upon-Avon area. This full-time, fixed-term supply role is ideal for someone confident, nurturing, and experienced in supporting pupils with additional needs on an individual basis.

Job Requirements:
• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND, ideally in a 1:1 role
• Ability to follow personalised learning plans, targets, and strategies
• Patient, adaptable, and confident supporting complex needs
• Strong communication skills with staff, families, and professionals
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (Child & Adult Workforce) or willingness to obtain
• Valid passport
• Ability to provide 24 months of employer or academic references

 

Role Responsibilities:
• Provide consistent 1:1 support to a KS2 pupil throughout the school day
• Support learning activities, emotional regulation, and personal development
• Assist with preparation of resources and daily routines
• Encourage independence, confidence, and engagement in learning
• Work closely with the class teacher and SEND team to support progress
• Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
