Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Wolverhampton
Pay Rate: £90.23 - £100.13
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Smart Education is currently recruiting a compassionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 11 to 19 in Wolverhampton. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to work with students who have a wide range of special educational needs and disabilities, ensuring that every learner can access education in a way that meets their individual needs.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff and support teams to assist pupils with a variety of needs, including:
SpLD: Specific Learning Difficulty
VI: Visual Impairment
HI: Hearing Impairment
SLCN: Speech, Language and Communication Needs
ASD: Autism Spectrum Disorder
SEMH: Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs
PD: Physical Disability
MLD: Moderate Learning Difficulty
SLD: Severe Learning Difficulty
PMLD: Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulty
OTH: Other Difficulty/Disability
You will support students both individually and in small groups, helping them to develop confidence, communication, and independence while encouraging positive engagement in their learning.
