Primary Teacher

Smart Education is currently recruiting for Primary Teachers to work in a range of mainstream primary schools across the Teesside area. We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated teachers for flexible day-to-day, short-term, and long-term placements, with opportunities across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.

Job requirements:
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
· Experience teaching in primary schools, with good curriculum knowledge of EYFS, KS1, or KS2
· Ability to plan, deliver, and assess engaging and differentiated lessons
· Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
· Passion for teaching and a commitment to pupil progress and wellbeing
· Excellent communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team
· Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
· Two professional references covering the last two years

Role responsibilities:
· Delivering high-quality, creative, and inclusive lessons that meet the needs of all learners
· Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching accordingly
· Creating a safe, positive, and stimulating classroom environment
· Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
· Collaborating with colleagues, support staff, and parents to promote effective learning
· Maintaining accurate records of pupil achievement and behaviour
· Contributing to the wider school life, including planning and assessment
