Smart Education is currently recruiting for a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Stratford-upon-Avon on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a highly supportive and dedicated team within an all-age setting (3–19) supporting pupils with a wide range of additional needs.

The school offers a broad-spectrum SEN provision, supporting pupils with learning difficulties, communication needs and complex needs, with a strong focus on independence, personal development and preparing pupils for life beyond education.

This role is ideal for a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about SEN and wants to make a long-term impact within a specialist environment.

Job requirements:
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Experience working with children or young people with SEN
• Experience within a UK school or specialist setting
• Patient, resilient and nurturing approach
• Ability to support communication, behaviour and emotional regulation
 

Role responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1, small group and classroom support
• Support pupils with a range of complex learning needs and communication difficulties
• Promote independence, confidence and personal development
• Support behaviour and emotional regulation
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and SEN professionals
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment
