SMART Education recruits into Teaching Jobs in Birmingham and across the West Midlands, and into Home Tutor jobs across the UK.

Join our team as a dedicated Functional Skills Tutor, empowering 16 to 24-year-olds in English, Maths, ICT at GCSE level and employability. This role encompasses four days a week, Monday to Thursday, with 7.5 hours dedicated to each working day. Mondays will be allocated for lesson planning, while Tuesdays to Thursdays will see you teaching in Birmingham, Northfield, and Chelmsley Wood.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in functional skills, tailored to the needs of young adults.
• Cover a comprehensive range of subjects, including English, maths, ICT, and employability skills.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and success.

 

Requirements:

• Hold a child/adult DBS on the update service or be prepared to process one promptly.
• Immediate availability to commence the role.
