Smart Education is excited to announce an opportunity for a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic team at a primary school in Coventry on a long-term basis. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual who is committed to making a positive impact on the educational journey of young learners.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide essential support to classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.

- Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning and offer additional assistance when required.

- Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.

- Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and resources.

- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as necessary.

- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and harmonious learning environment.

- Uphold school policies and promote a safe and respectful atmosphere for all.

 

Requirements:

- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.

- Previous experience in a similar role within a primary school setting is essential.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- A passion for education and a genuine desire to support the development of young learners.

- Dedication to maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom environment.

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

- Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) on the update service.

Salary:  £19,257 -  £20,336 pro rata
