Smart Education are looking for a SEN Teacher to have the opportunity to work in one of our Special Needs schools in the Brierley Hill area. We build great relationships with our schools and support staff so we can find the best placements for you.

The successful candidate will be working as a SEN Teacher with young people aged 14 to 19 and have experience working with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) in a post 16 setting. This is a full-time/long-term position.

We are looking for a SEN Teacher to support children with special educational needs at a specialist school. This is a great chance to gain an abundance of experience to add to your profile and keep everyday exciting. The successful candidate will be QTS Qualified with experience working as a SEN Teacher in a post 16 setting and own a calm, patient, and caring persona, it is important that you have excellent communication skills and a good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines. You will support cognition and learning, asses students, support intimate care as required.

You must have experience in working with Severe Learning Difficulties and hold a child/adult DBS on the update service. |The successful candidate will be subject to references

Qualifications Required: QTS + minimum 1 year experience

Salary: £28,000 - £38,810 per anum

Hours: Monday to Friday
