PMLD Qualified Teacher

We are currently looking for PMLD Teacher to work with students within the Early Years department. The School provides for pupils with severe, profound and complex learning difficulties. About one-quarter of the pupils have autistic spectrum disorder or similar challenges, and a third have significant physical disabilities. A number of pupils have multi-sensory impairments.

With a well supported Team of Health Care Professionals and Teaching Assistants, we are looking for a Teacher to bring new idea’s and create new ways of engaging learning of students to provide them with the best care, support and learning possible.

Prior experience working with those with sensory impairments or with medical needs is preferred but not essential.

The School is located near Wolverhampton train station for those looking to commute with the closet tram stop being Priestfield and an onsite car park for those who drive.

The ideal candidate will have:

1) Prior experience working with young people (ASD & SEMH Preferred but not essential)

2) Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS), subscribed on the update service.

3) Legal Right to work in the United Kingdom

4) Ability to attend an interview in July 2020 and start Fulltime hours in September 2020.

5) Full Job History and original certificates for relevant qualifications.

Qualifications Required: 6 months experience within a school or similar setting

Salary: £126.25-189.36

Hours: 8:30 – 4:30 Monday to Friday

Location: Wolverhampton
