Supply Teacher

Smart Education are one of the leading education recruitment agencies in the West Midlands in order to assist schools with their staffing needs for September 2020 we are recruiting for a bank of supply teachers to cover day to day and short term staff absences across schools in the West Midlands from September 2020.

We are looking for supply teachers to cover across, Primary, Secondary, SEN and FE settings from September 2020.

Ideally you will hold Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent or have substantial experience working in schools already!. This role would suit anyone looking for flexible work or to move away from fulltime teaching responsibilities. There is plenty of work available to work from 1-5 days a week as a supply teacher.

A typical day will be arriving for 8:20 reviewing policies and procedures and jumping in to cover for the absence teacher, marking will be required at the end of the day and leaving a handover for the teacher when they return. You get to work at a variety of schools and many Teachers build up a bank of regularly schools they continue to go back to and build ongoing relationships with staff and pupils.

Smart Education supplies staff to mainstream, academy, independent and SEND schools across Birmingham and its surrounding areas, and we have immediate supply work available for you whatever your needs.

Requirements

• FQT or NQT or relevant teaching qualification (or substantial experience)

• Available to start in September

• Evidence of a clear and trackable work record

• A passion for success and quality teaching

• All posts are subject to an enhanced DBS check and referencing.

• Salary: £100-£160 per day

• Hours: 8:20-4.00 Monday to Friday
