PRU Teacher

We are looking for a Teacher to work within a PRU setting in Birmingham from March 2020. You must hold QTS and have experience within a school setting and be comfortable dealing with challenging behaviour. This is a school where the pupils matter every minute of everyday. This setting is for children who cannot attend mainstream education for a variety of reasons, this maybe challenges due to being a looked after child or additional needs such as Autism and ADHD and attending a mainstream setting is very difficult. The school offers great education full of exciting learning and experiences so that pupils can go on to lead healthy, happy and successful lives and remain in education.

This role is a role from September 2020 until the end of the academic year with the option to extend it further or on a permanent contract.

This role is a temp to perm position, with a year contract in the first instance.

Qualifications Required: QTS

Salary: Main Pay Scale + relevant TLR

Hours: 8:30 – 4:30 Monday to Friday
