School Catering Assistant

Smart Education are currently recruiting for catering assistants to work across schools in Birmingham.

We are currently recruiting for school catering assistants to support local schools covering staff absences and support the catering a manager. The temporary positions are to start as soon as possible and range from part time to full time hours, duties of a catering assistant include:

• Ensuring the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic

• Washing utensils and dishes and making sure they are stored appropriately.

• Sorting, storing and distributing ingredients.

• Washing, peeling, chopping, cutting and cooking foodstuffs and helping to prepare salads and desserts

There is the potential for a permanent job from these opportunities.

Qualifications Required: Health and Hygiene Certificate

Salary: £8.21 per hour

Hours: 11:30-2:00 Monday to Friday (1-5 days per week)

Location: Small Heath
