JOB DESCRIPTION SMART Education is looking for a special needs teaching assistant to work in a Pupil Referral Uni (PRU) Special needs teaching assistants need to provide a high level of support to children with a range of learning difficulties including behavioural difficulties.
As the SEND (Special Education Needs and Disabilities) Teaching Assistant, you will be vital in supporting a small classroom, ranging from 2 up to 10 pupils. You will be working closely with the class teacher, helping to differentiate the work for each pupil and support the pupils in completing their day to day education material.
Qualifications Required: Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Equivalent
Location: South Birmingham
Salary: £60 - £75 per day
Hours: 8:30-3:30 Monday to Friday
Interview Dates: Week commencing 14th January 2019
