The Role
You’ll play a key role in creating engaging learning experiences and building a welcoming classroom environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering creative lessons in line with the Primary National Curriculum
- Teaching pupils in EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2
- Designing age-appropriate, motivating learning activities
- Differentiating lessons to suit a range of abilities and needs
- Assessing, monitoring, and supporting pupil progress
- Setting high expectations for classroom behaviour and learning
- Fostering pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Following existing plans and routines when needed
- Working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and colleagues
- Building positive relationships with pupils
- Maintaining a safe, inclusive classroom
- Adhering to safeguarding procedures and school policies
Skills and Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required
- Minimum 6 months UK classroom teaching experience
- Solid knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
- Experience teaching EYFS, KS1 or KS2
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to differentiate teaching for individual learner needs
- Confidence supporting pupils with additional needs
- Clear communication and organisational skills
- Enthusiastic, professional, and adaptable approach
- Ability to provide references covering your most recent 24 months
- Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

- Based in Telford and local areas
- Daily rate: £140.00 – £253.00
