Pay Rate: £140 – £253 per day

The Role

As an SEN Teacher, you will support pupils with diverse and complex learning needs. Your focus will be on creating highly personalised learning experiences, fostering communication, engagement, and independence in each pupil. You will work closely with Teaching Assistants to ensure all pupils receive consistent and effective support.

 

Responsibilities

  • Deliver differentiated and accessible lessons tailored to individual needs
  • Plan lessons around individual learning objectives and EHCP outcomes
  • Collaborate closely with Teaching Assistants
  • Monitor, record, and promote individual pupil progress
  • Champion communication, independence, and engagement

 

Skills and Experience

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Previous SEND teaching experience highly desirable
  • Experience supporting Autism, SLD, PMLD, or complex needs beneficial
  • Strong understanding of EHCP outcomes
  • Enhanced Child/Adult DBS required
  • 24 months' references

  • Daily rate: £140 – £253 per day
