Learning Support Assistant

Smart Education are looking for experienced Learning Support Assistants to work within Special Needs settings in Worcester from September 2020 providing 1:1 support and or general classroom support to students ages 4 - 19 with a range of special needs, we work with schools who support pupils with a variety of needs including ASD, PMLD, SEBD, ADHD challenging behaviour, SEMH, Personal care, visual and hearing impairment amongst others.

You must be level 3 qualified or equivalent and have experience of working with students ages from Primary – Post 16 with Special Needs. MAPA training, Team Teach, Makaton, BSL or similar would be of an advantage.

The roles will initially start from September 2020 throughout the academic year, varying from part/ full time, day to day, short term or long term. There can be options for permanent positions also.

Qualifications Required: 6+ Months minimum experience

Salary: £65-£85 per day per day

Hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday

Location: Worcester
