SEN TEACHING ASSISTANT

SEN Teaching Assistant for 6-12 month Maternity Cover

A fantastic Special Needs School based in Birmingham is looking for enthusiastic and flexible Teaching Assistants who have previous experience working with children with PMLD(Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities) to cover maternity leave.

You would be working with children who are functioning at the earliest levels of development and who may have additional disabilities such as Autism/Hearing impairment.

Duties involve assisting children in all aspects of the curriculum, providing extra support to the children, planning learning activities with teachers etc. This role can be very challenging but at the same time extremely rewarding for the right person.

Qualifications Required: Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Childcare equivalent

Location: Dudley

Salary: £65-£80 per day

Hours: 8:30-4pm Monday to Friday
