We are currently looking for an experienced school administrator to work within a Primary School office in a reputable inner-city Birmingham school. This is a full-time position with the working hours of 8.30 – 5.30 or 9.00 – 5.00.
Receptionist / administrative experience is essential.
This position is ideal for a candidate who aspires to continue a career within educational clerical sector.
Job Description:
The administrator will be expected to:
• Have an eagerness to use, learn and develop necessary administrative skills
• Communicate articulately with others
• Create a good first impression of the school to others
• Be the first point of contact on reception – answering and making calls
• Implement school policies and procedures within your daily duties especially safeguarding
• Carry out a variety of administrative tasks to support the school secretary and school bursar
• Work as part of a team and on your own using your initiative
• Liaise with staff, pupils, parents and other professionals
This could be the perfect opportunity to develop many transferable administrative skills.
Salary: Negotiable
Hours: 8:30 – 5:30 or 9:00 – 5:00 everyday Mon – Fri (Term time only)
