Cover Teacher

We are currently working with a range of Secondary Schools in the Alcester Area. Due to this, we are urgently recruiting for Cover Supervisors to work in these Secondary Schools on a temporary supply or long-term basis.

A Cover Supervisor working for Smart Education will be responsible for going into Secondary Schools in the absence of a Class Teacher. You will be tasked with supervising Secondary School students and ensuring that they complete the work set during their lesson.

You will be responsible for following the school behaviour policy and ensuring that students are “on task” and behave well during the lessons.

As a Cover Supervisor, you must have the following;

• A degree or relevant experience working with children. (11-16)

•Experience of working with children in a sports or outdoor environment (11-16)

•Classroom management skills

•Flexibility in approach to mixed abilities children with view to help

•A passion to be involve in the development of learning

•Ability to offer strength & positivity to the students and gain their respect.

Qualifications Required: A degree and 6+ Months minimum experience

Salary: £60-70 per day

Hours: To suit - Monday to Friday full time or part time
