KS1 Teacher

Job Title: KS1 Teacher (2 Vacancies)
Pay rate: £32,916 - £45,352 + SEN Allowance £2,787
Location: Stratford-upon-Avon
Hours: Full-time - permanent

Smart Education is currently recruiting for two permanent KS1 Teachers to join a supportive and inclusive special school in Stratford-upon-Avon, starting January 2026. Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply.

This is a fantastic opportunity for teachers with SEND experience to make a real difference for young learners with Special Educational Needs. Job requirements:

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Valid child/adult enhanced DBS
• Experience teaching pupils with SEND
• ECTs are welcome to apply
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to inclusive education and supporting learners’ individual needs

Role responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging KS1 lessons tailored to pupils’ needs
• Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to implement individual learning plans
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
• Uphold the school’s ethos of high expectations, respect, and celebration of individuality
